sorabji.com: What have you done?: had a sorabji-fest dream.
By Patrick on Monday, February 14, 2000 - 12:27 pm:

Ok, so i had a "sorabji-fest" dream. Strange and vivid. We were getting together by this lake, we were in the pacific nw, the lake was beautiful, clear, amongst tall pines and redwoods, a park ranger pointed out the fish......one by one, as everyone arrived, i was taking a mental roster. There were those whose faces i knew, those whom i didn't know......margret was one of the first recognizable faces. we smiled, and sorta said a tacit hello, we breezed by each other and on to the next person. thats the way everything moved. I don't really remember talking with anyone else, other than, nate, when he walked in. He was shorter than i thought, more chubby than i suspect he is in reality, shaved head with bleached roots. He came in, everyone sorta knew who he was, we chatted for a moment, but again it was this weird tacit conversation, all the motions, but nothing directly said. At one point or another i looked around the room, a few were talking, but for the most part, everyone was just looking at each other, all those words spoken digitally running through our heads....we seemed to be asking ourselves, who the hell are these people and why am I here....this seems liked a forced social,

all that time talking electronically, we had nothing to say in person.....the lake was beautiful though..

After you woke up, we all went skinny-dipping in the lake, and talked about you. It was a riot. Sorry you missed it.

By Gee on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 01:14 am:

Don't lie to the boy, Markus. You were the only one "skinny-dipping". the rest of us were snickering and snapping pictures.

the talking about him part was true, though.

By Patrick on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 11:54 am:

i am alot to talk about. especially had i gone skinny dipping.

By semillama on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 12:54 pm:

Gee, I think that many of us would not pass up the chance to go skinny-dipping.

By J on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 01:07 pm:

But test those waters first,I,ll never forget skinny dipping at beaver creek, then sitting on a flat rock smoking a joint and thinking how beautiful the world was and then glancing at the rock and seeing leeches, that was the end of that.

By Nate on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 02:12 pm:

    leeches are no big deal.

    fuck.

i'm always the first to get out of my clothes.

By semillama on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 03:26 pm:

Since Patrick, will be asleep anyway, we can just stick any leeches we find on him. I'm sure he won't mind too much. He may need some restorative soup later, though.

By Jina on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 06:22 pm:

    I... hmm..

I've never gone skinny dipping. It's always too cold here. But I wouldn't pass up the chance.

By Isolde on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 06:35 pm:

I remember the first time I went skinny-dipping up here.
I thought I would never be the same again.
I guess I should have thought before jumping into the Pacific in February, though. Guess I was just a crazy kid.
