Straight from FTD.com too, the most goddamn expensive flowers I have ever seen. All that extra money because I didn't want to deliver them myself. Oh well.

I also sent her an email the other day (sometimes snail-mail is just too slow) telling her what I really think of her. I didn't think I'd have the balls to send it, because I have the awful feeling that she would never like me "like that," and because now it might just make things awkward with her.

Alas, as tragic as my love for her may be, I have no regrets. I've spent all my life waiting for things to happen to me, and had I not done anything now or later, this would have been another chance that I ever took, and as it seems now, the one I would have regretted most.

    She really is beautiful.

Sorry if I sound like I'm trying to be profound, because really, I am. It's this whole site that puts me in the mood for it, even if I'm not too good at it.

hey, next time go ahead and write that letter with a pen and paper and go buy a stamp and envelope and put it in the mail.

see, if you do that, then you'll almost certainly get kept. you should make your admiration for her into a tangible thing that she can keep.

sending a letter is like wrapping a present. yeah, it's nice to get nice email and it's also nice to be given something, but it's rare and memorable to receive a handwritten letter or to be given a present that someone wrapped themselves.

it can mean more to someone that you spent your time on them than your money.
