,,,3 days back,I woke up with a dis-located right collor bone, the pain is amazing, even now,I can feel it popping in and out.I will put off the x-rays for a few more days, see if it gets better.I wish I knew if its fixed to the sternum, the end of the bone is just a lump...good news is,no skin has turned black,so I think nothing is broken.Last time I broke an ankle,it turned black,it seems our bones are full of blood.

By droopy on Saturday, April 29, 2006 - 01:52 pm:

our bones are full of marrow. which creates blood cells. next time you find yourself leaking bone marrow, make an incision, bleed it out and make osso buco.

By Dodi on Saturday, April 29, 2006 - 03:11 pm:

By V on Saturday, April 29, 2006 - 03:34 pm:

droopy, most fine person, you will have to explain "osso buco",it sounds Mexican to me,droopy, perhaps like you,v also hates Doctors,I tend to think a lot of things can cure themselves,so I hope...tonight,I feel like I got hit by a train.,its a bit hard to breath, and my right arm and leg dont work too well. Its not a heart attack, thats when you get the steel band round the chest,so my Father told me 3 days before he died of one.

Dodi, you need a i.d. card, you must be the most cloned person on line, part from v.

By droopy on Saturday, April 29, 2006 - 04:41 pm:

osso buco is italian. bone marrow soup. tasty.

mexicans prefer to make soup out of stomach lining. not always tasty, but good for a hangover.

By V on Saturday, April 29, 2006 - 08:43 pm:

...haggis is also made from stomach lining, but would not eat it for the world. Some time ago I was a friend of Mr.Kellman,of Kellmans Kosher Meat Products,he made the first Kosher Haggis in the world. He did very well for an ex-army Jewish cook, still worth millions.

By Dodi on Thursday, May 4, 2006 - 06:53 pm:

I guess I'm cloned, cause they all want to be like me. I'm flattered. Thank you everyone.

    That soup sounds gross.

Speaking of things Mexican (groan if you must):

Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellman's mayonnaise was manufactured in England. The "Titanic" was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after New York City.

The Mexican people were eagerly awaiting delivery and were disconsolate at the loss. So much so that they declared a national day of mourning which they still observe today. It is known, of course, as Sinko de Mayo.
