    ...changed all my light bulbs to "energy saveing" bulbs,they look ugly, run on 1/4 the power,but give the same light and last longer.,but cost more.The other options are,2.5 kW PV roof solar panel,$26,000,,,or 1 kW wind turbine,$3,000,,,or hydro-power system,$50,000,,,or wood heater,$6,000,,,or a (very deep) thermal heat pump,$16,000.........why is it all so expensive????,do I want to spend 10 or 15 years to re-coup the money?
