    Urban Decay... isn't that nail polish? Hehe. I have some a deep burgundy shade called "Gash" and another gun metal gray, can't remember the name of it and another called "Graffitti" which is this irradescent periwinkle color.

    nah. that's ok. i don't live in the bronx. and besides, i've got my own crown that i wear when i dress up like the queen on saturday nights. i highly doubt an "urban decay" crown would go well with my delicate lace dress and fishnet stockings.

    DC can be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but just a few blocks from the Capitol are some of the ugliest, most depressing sites you'll ever see.

    I love it when buildings fall apart. They get all crumbly on the outside where the front of the bricks fall off, then maybe some cool moss grows in there, then the sidwalk becomes a garden in the cracks.....god it's beautifull. I could stroll through streets of decrepid apartment buildings all day. This makes things better, damn progress, taking my urban ruins away from me. It gives the places character, history, life. I have roll upon roll of pictures of things like that.


    (hey carrie, how much did you pay for that polish? I have to use rip-off brands because there is only one place to buy Urban Decay in Toronto, and you might as well take out a loan to get it there.....)

    I think it is...something beautiful about things falling apart that were meant to last forever...concrete buildings are lovely...concrete and rusted wire fences and barbed wire....

    They ran in the New Haven (CT) Advocate (the artsy rag) recently a thing about these oil containers being art...how some photographress did shots of these huge white oil thingys by the Long Island Sound on a blue-sky day. Pictures of the long, spiraling stairs and their shadows....

    art? I think so.

    Wisper: It's like $9 a little bottle of it, if I remember correctly. I can get it at a couple places in the mall here. (Nordstroms and Hot Topic) I got 2 new colors... Jet (black.. actually more of a dark dark metallic gray) & Carnal (blood red).. er wait, those aren't Urban Decay though. Those are MAC. Heh, nevermind.

    Savannah, GA is a good place to find building rot too. There's the historic district, and then there's just the old district :)...but it's all falling apart just the same.
