Alright Nate/since you were too damn lazy to use a search engine/you must heretofore address Gee as God. Since He even hooked you up w/soundfiles.

By Nate on Thursday, June 24, 1999 - 10:46 am:

i've never thought of Gee as male.

neither of these are right, RC. i already searched the web.

I know they were at some time on the Cup Of Tea Records label (Bristol, England), however I have never been able to locate one of their albums.

They have an album called "Purple".

they are mellow mood techno jazz. the woman who sings has the most beautiful voice.

you mean it's not thrash nate?

By Nate on Thursday, June 24, 1999 - 12:26 pm:

    no way.

How many bands named Crustacean can there be?

Aren't there copyright laws regulating band names once you have a record out?

By R.C. on Thursday, June 24, 1999 - 06:14 pm:

    P.S.
Sorry for calling you a male, Gee. But I keep thinking of Giardello from "Homicide" when I see Gee.

And I'm glad yr Crustacean wasn't either of those 2, Nate. That stuff was waaayy tooo harsh!

depends on who cuts your record, and if it's small DIY label, then no. I was in a band the released a single several years ago, we did it our selves, do we have copyright...no, do we care, no

By R.C. on Friday, June 25, 1999 - 01:15 am:

But if yr record got covered by, say The Goo Goo Dolls/& was used in a movie soundtrack & sold a shitload of copies/THEN you'd care, right?

To copyright something requires nothing more than filling out a form & sending 2 copies to of the work to Washington along w/a $20 check. And you *can* copyright works after they've already been published/but I don't know what the timelimit is.

If you're interested/you can get the forms & info here:

I have, upon occasion, thought of myself as male.

Okay, I don't really, I just grab any opportunity I can get to say "upon occasion".
