In my case,this very thing happened.And they became companionable.Discussed me like I wasn't even there.Everyone had "my best interests" in mind.Almost to the point of speaking of me in the third person.It was very annoying.It was like I had NO say in the matter.My ex was concerned that I would have enough money to live on,[I wouldn't take any from him],and even went and talked my landlord into lowering my rent.It was ridiculous,and somewhat degrading.They ended up more or less liking each other,and my present husband even said to me,that if something should ever happen to him,that he would like me to get back with my ex,because he would like my ex to raise our kids,[if he wasn't here].How weird is that?It was VERY uncomfortable for me. We all met up on a trip to Oregon,[for a graduation],and it was REALLY WEIRD for me.We all did sight seeing type stuff together.It was like a vacation with both of them there,at the same time.They seemed much more comfortable than me.I have only had 3 migraines in my whole life,and one of them was on this trip.You can just have NO idea how WEIRD and UNCOMFORTABLE this was for me. But as odd as my experience was,I can top it with something even more horrible,that just happened to my dear lesbian friend Tammie.This was truely a NIGHTMARE.[I'm SO glad this didn't happen to me]. It happened about 6 weeks ago.Tammie was at her house,sleeping,[alone,in her own bed],at about 3:30 AM. Her ex-girlfriend,April,and her new girlfriend Melissa,whom there had been considerable strain/animosity/dislike/jealousy etc., between, decided to get together,[at Aprils urging].So they go out to a bar,[unbeknowngst to Tammie],and proceed to get drunk,and have a "Bashing Tammie" session.[April is VERY conniving,by nature]. So,eventually,drunk,and all fired up,they show up at Tammies house,let themselves in,position themselves one on each side of her bed,wake her up and just let her have it with both barrels.Any fucking little,or big, mis-truth,dishonesty,white lie,intentional lie,you name it,confronted her with it all,in their drunken indignation. She just freaked out.[as any of us would have].Woken from a sound sleep,being verbally attacked by the 2 most important love interests of her immediate life.She was just so shocked.I asked her why she didn't just kick them out,[which she eventually did,when she woke up enough to regain her wits],and she said she was just so shocked,freaked out,un-comprehending,that she didn't know what to do. What a fucking NIGHTMARE.She was really shaken up.It took its toll on her.Aprils clever little plan,worked temporarily.The episode broke Tammie and Melissa up.Which caused a short lived reuninting of April and Tammie.But,eventually,Tammie and Melissa got back together.Their relationship still isn't very stable.I don't think it will ever be.[trust me,Melissa isn't faultless,herself].But that wasn't the point of me telling their story. This was a "what if x's meet each other" thread.And there you have it.It makes me tremble inside,just thinking of the horror of it. And,as for Nita,we need more information,to be able to comment on your particular case. |
