Okay, this is definitely not the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last... I've been pretty much without a home of my own for the last 4 months. We sold our house that we had owned for 3 years and made a whopping $80,000 in the deal. Best investment I've made in my short little life. Anyway, the reason for the move is b/c my hubby got the chance to transfer with a hefty raise, so we took it (we just had our second {and last} child, and we wanted to be able to pay off all of our debt and get on the positive side again). We're finally in our new place now and I am so glad to not be staying with my mother anymore. That was pretty much 4 months of hell. Anyway, the reason I need help is b/c my sorabji.com email is not working anymore. Seeing as I haven't used it for at least the last four months (b/c my computer was locked away in storage), it doesn't surprise me. Does anyone know if anything was changed or is it possible it was deleted since it was not checked for so long?

She's a little girl :) Her name is Bianca, and although Nate with disagree, she's adorable. I have pictures of her up at www.theplowmans.com/photos. Ethan got big. I have pictures of him up at that site as well. He's a cutie. I was induced two weeks prior to my estimated due date because I was measuring 4 inches bigger than I should and they did an ultrasound to confirm fetal weight and she was supposed to be 9 lbs already at 38 weeks. She was born 7lbs 11oz. Didn't surprise me though. They told me Ethan was going to be the same weight but I carried him to term and he was 7lbs 14 oz. I'm okay with small though. Makes it easier on me :). We're living in Squaw Valley, CA now (the city, not the ski resort), which is about 33 miles East of Fresno. It's in the "foothills", but looks and feels more like the "mountains". It's very calm and peaceful here. I love it. There are some pictures of the house at the same place as the kids. It's a pretty cool house. Anyway, I think I'm settled now. I won't be working, just staying home and raising kids, and working on my crafts and stuff. Hopefully now I'll have time to get back on the boards. How are things with you J?

I've been having lots of fun dressing her. This time I feel so much more prepared for a baby. I feel a lot calmer this time. It's very nice. I'm sure Bianca is going to end up giving me lots of trouble, but I am going to enjoy this peace while I can. By the way, Mark fixed my email :) Thanks Mark!

This house is so cool. It would be so perfect for a little sorabji get-together. Living here is like being on a permanent vacation. It was perfect for Christmas. The first floor's walls are made of stone bound by concrete. The corner fireplace is made with the same stone and is in fact built into the wall. Once the house is heated up, it takes like two or three days for it to go cold again, because the fire from the fireplace heats up the walls. So, right now, while it's really, really cold outside, we just keep a little fire going, and it's nice and cozy inside. Two things that really suck about the house: 1.) The kitchen is pretty small, and there is barely any counter space. Also, the cabinets space is not very usable either. 2.) Our internet connection is dial-up right now, and we're connecting at 26400 usually. It's pretty awful going from high-speed cable internet access to this. We're probably going to get Satellite internet access, if I can fit it into our budget. This is the perfect house for parties. Lots of room and out in the boonies so that you won't have to worry about bothering your neighbors. So when are you coming over J? ;-)

I'm sleeping on a mattress on the floor,and am useing a card table and plastic lawn chairs at my mother's townhouse,while I'm remodeling my own house,so your really tempting me cause it's shit city here:) Where I live you can only have a fire in your fireplace every other day, if your address is an even # you have it on a even day,odd address odd day. It's going to be 78 degrees tomorrow,so we rarely use it.

Anytime you need to get away, my house will always be open to you. And you will definitely feel away up here.

i would guess because of the fire concern. its dry in the desert. we've had fire issues here in the last few days because of prevailing desert conditions..ultra low humidity, high winds. a small fire can grow rapidly when its do so dry and windy. on another semi-related note we dropped Adelphia cable because they are crooked motherfucks and raised our rates to fish their ass out of bankruptcy so we got Direct TV for the same price. there is a special right now that is letting me watch all the hockey from around the country and canada and for the first time im watching canadian tv. is tim horton your president or something?

If you are asking what desert im referring to when I say "desert conditions"...well its a general reference and is used as the winds come from the north and east, which is where the high desert (mojave) is and they mimic desert environments. what is an "r/c" ran on the desert floor? if you didnt realize it....the mojave is higher in elevation than LA. its strange to think about. people always think of deserts as low lying.

canadian tv is sweet. Note how we allow swearing, and sometimes full nudity. Don't watch Air Farce, no matter what!!!! Tim Horton was a hockey player. His only legacy is the donut/coffee shop chain that bears his name for some reason. There are more Tim Horton's locations here than schools or hospitals. For real. No other donut chain can compete with them, even Starbucks is getting buried. They are an institution, like McDonalds, but warm and friendly. I live within 5 minutes walk to 3 of them, so does everyone else.

There are two deserts near to you Patrick, both parts of the mojave. One is called the high desert (where we were) just north of San Bernadino and on the way to Vegas. The other is called the low desert, where Palm Springs is. R/C is a remote control car. Boys and their toys. Have you been getting a lot of Santa Ana winds? Usually they are the only things that create the desert like weather down there. They are nice and warm, but in the desert we only get them during the summer to raise the temps into the 11x's. I sold Dish Network and Primestar for a while when we were in Cali. Hated it. The job sucked horribly. In the high desert you can't get local channels on it and you can't get them with antenna either. No point in it. Might as well stick to their crappy ass cable.
