bicycle pumps

sorabji.com: I need advice: bicycle pumps

i've decided that it's about time i sifted through all of my random tools and actually organize a wheelchair repair tool kit. one thing i think i ought to get is a manual bicycle pump. i keep an electric air compressor in the house, but those things always give out eventually. it'd be a good idea to keep a manual one for back-up. up until now, i never kept one around because the ones i always had were old ones that were difficult or impossible for me to use since i can't stand and brace the bottom and put the full weight of my upper body into it. but there must be, somewhere in this brave new world, a bicycle pump that i can make work for me. i know there a few sorabji bike enthusiasts, any suggestions?

I have a pretty excellent handheld bicycle pump which is often compared to a penis pump...and very easy to use.

droopy, I don't recall if any wheelchair have tires that is filled with air?

Platypus, sometime ago, I went to Walgreen, while walking through the aisle looking for gauze cloth, I needed to cover the wound, after got one, I turned and noticed that the Penis pump was stocked next to the condom and contraption aisle closer to pharmacy. This is out of question.

hospital wheelchairs have solid rubber tires. "street" chairs have pneumatic tires like bike tires. where are you remembering this wheelchair from?

I don't see a wheelchair around ,but usually the hospital. that is all.
