sorabji.com: I need advice: me publish something online?

just in case somebody who knows how to do this
    still wanders onto this site.

i've been working on my family's history for
years, now. one of the primary sources is a book
called Oak Hill-Cedar Valley Pioneers. it's a book
privately published in 1956 that includes stories
of my family as settlers of that area south of
    austin, tx.

i use the book as a source, but very few original
copies remain in existence. the one i have is a
photocopied version held in place with a plastic
    binder. i got it from a woman - now 85 - named
    frances bones batla.

i want to find a way to publish my family's
portion of the book online so i can link to it as
a reference. does anybody know a way to do that?

You could scan it and to a PDF, then post that in a public
    google drive.

    https://www.google.com/drive/

You can take it to a Kinko's to have them scan it.

i'm at the public library (genealogy) right now, scanning the
book for free. I think they'll be able to help me. thanks.
