I'd say I am. I don't seem anything at all like the smart characters in the books I read. Maybe this is a result of how authors have to portray smart characters - witty responses, Machiavellian manipulation of the other characters, etc. - actions that the reader doesn't expect, making the reader think "gee, that character is smarter than me," and assuming the reader has a healthy ego, "smarter than me" translates to just "smart." But maybe I'm just stupid.
