I went to Salt Lake City to see my family, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, the Utah Shakespearean Festival to see "Othello," and Bryce Canyon. I saw Wyoming, a little sliver of Montana, and Idaho for the first times -- Idaho was surprisingly beautiful, esp. the land south of Idaho Falls. I actually have a bit of a tan. I saw a bear in Yellowstone! And elk, but the bear was more exciting. I drove for 5 hours straight in the hot Utah desert going 80 mph consistently, and the car did not overheat, nor did my tires blow out, nor did I run out of gas. (Who knew Hyundai Accents performed so well?) In Jackson, WY, the temperature got up to 75 degrees in the afternoon, with low humidity, clear skies, clean air... Now, in this pit, it is 9:45 in the moring, 86 degrees with 60% humidity. I'm sneezing. I have 108 emails and 18 phone calls I have to return. I miss my family. Why did I come back?? |

I'm considering moving west in the next two years. |
