Stay inside, with the AIR CONDITIONER OFF. This is Texas in the summer. Luckily it was relatively cool on Thursday (i.e. 85 degrees) but usually it's 95-100, and has gotten up to 102 so far this summer. And they want people to stay inside with the windows shut and the air conditioner off? If the risk is small, why should they subject themselves to the definate risk of locking themselves in a house oven? (It can easily get to 120 degrees in a closed house in the summer without AC.) |
