    walking back from the subway i see a pair of shoes near a curb. they sit there as if the owner was standing on the cur ready to walk into the street when suddenly he disappeared into nothingness. i stood there for a few moments, next to the shoes hoping i could join the owner. when i got impatient i walked home.

    i got really drunk last night. got all kinds of crazy and made a fool of myself. i showed a friend the scariest coldest fuckedup side of me. are we still friends? i think so, but i don't understand.
