    ...we need rain,we had less rain last winter than we had since records began,and we now have a 2 year hosepipe ban in force,next to go will be the local car wash.London will end up like the Sahara.We used to get a little snow,but now we just get fog.

    london's climate will resemble helsinki if global warming and the desalinization of the northern atlantic shuts down the gulf stream. as will much of europe. or so i'm told.

    although i hear helsinki is a very clean and nice city. it's on my list of places i'd like to see but probably never will.

    also on the list, tashkent. too bad the uzbekistan govt is so hostile that a visit there would probably be miserable.

    Dave,you need to go to "the hill of crosses"in south Lithuania,awesome,I hope to get there this year,I just want to count the crosses,must be millions.Its on the net,droopy did a superb posting of it.Regarding Helsinki,its like Sweden,zero litter,puts us all to shame.,also on my list of places to see is Chernobil,,,"The Watcher" first posted "Elenas Chernobil",still one of the best web sites in the world.
