    guess that's where i hope to be.

    went on a wikipedia binge yesterday, researching skadi & pjazi for a song. standard chord progression: I(first inversion), V, V7, I. four verses and a chorus & haven't gotten to the actual story yet. but researching those two led to all sorts of norse mythology, including ginnungap.

    thinking about norway and i know so little about where my great-grandparents were, the people around them. i tried to look stuff up that i did know, but it's not enough, but i started reading about dialects, accents and finally jargons.

    there's bits of chinook jargon in placenames all over here, but there are a word or two that i picked up from my grandfather, an onomatopoeic word for cat.

    through the screen, i feel warm.
