    Umm, what was funny about that? Seriously. I have a pretty keen sense of humor and I didn't see anything funny about that, so I want to know what I am missing.

    Not the story itself, but the headline I saw that lead me to the story was that "Man takes four bullets to the head and lives" and you see this guy, looks like he may be naked save for the helmet, and that look on his face. Combined it had an instant gut reaction of humour.

    Well, maybe there's some confusion about its composition, or maybe it bonds in a weird way, or maybe for all intents and purposes its composition is such that you'd expect it to make lousy armour and here it is protecting guys' heads from 4 bullets....you know?
