    every so often, I read something with a character that reminds me of myself, and it's really sickening. Worst of all is Babbitt. I swear, that's me, overdoing every thing I get into, ignoring everybody around me, and then having to renounce my lifestyle every few months. Ugh. Sorry for the vagueness, but my examples are too weirdly specific to me, and I've recommended this site to all my friends. Anyway, if anyone else is scared of becoming a fictional character, throw in your two cents.
