    despite this being linked from newsmax.com, I am seeing Franks' ideas being trumpeted across websites both radical right and radical left.

    do you think a WMD attack on America would be the end of the Constitution? Could be, could be.


    the only difference between the radical right and radical left sites' in the case of this link is, on the radical right sites, columnists are saying this shows we must invade any country suspected of having WMD... that terrorism could actually be stopped forever. Therefore put more trust in the government and let them do whatever is necessary to hunt them down, even if something might intrude into your lives and effect your rights.


    on the left sites, they're saying that since terrorism is something that can never really end, we must look ahead and fear the US government and question them more, knowing what they are capable of and what the consequences of their actions could be.
