By patrick on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 - 02:34 pm:

    well yeah.

    thats all?

I liked the Peterson/Littenberg one, and for some reason I really liked the last one.

    You asked.

By patrick on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 - 02:53 pm:

the Peterson/Littenberg resonates a Gotham-esq quality with me. i like that.

    i asked.

By Spider on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 - 02:57 pm:

The Peterson/Littenberg was the only decent option. Everything else made me roll my eyes. Especially the last one -- RIGHT.

By patrick on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 - 02:59 pm:

the Meier bldg is over the top but thats what i like about him.

By semillama on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 - 04:01 pm:

I agree with Spider, but then I also thought that it was hard to tell what was going on with the P/L option. I do like the ones that feature open memorial spaces better.

I still say Maya Lin's suggestion of two reflecting pools where teh tower footprints were is the best idea.

By patrick on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 - 04:21 pm:

maya lin did the vietnam memorial right?

there's no way in hell the city of nyc is going to not put office space there. the economic loss is to great for them not to.
