The link wouldn't work for me. Sorry, Patrick.

PS. My tailbone feels much better today. The bruise is rather frightening, though, and the small gouge wound in my lower back where I impaled myself on the tip of a tree branch won't form a scab and won't stop bleeding. It's been five days. I'm calling the doctor when I get home.

By Nate on Thursday, February 8, 2001 - 04:09 pm:

hey patrick, you get those ads for some wound center down there? we don't get them up here, but i seem to remember them from my trips south.

the wound center. where they take care of the wounds that just won't heal.

must be a front for something.

    wound.

    i love that word.

By patrick on Thursday, February 8, 2001 - 04:58 pm:

i have no idea what you are talking about.

    was that perhaps a dream?

By Rhiannon on Thursday, February 8, 2001 - 05:14 pm:

Are you making fun of me, Nate?

By Nate on Thursday, February 8, 2001 - 05:16 pm:

    i wouldn't do that.

there's a "wound care center" in texas. i've been there about my ass. no joke. must be a chain of some sort.

there is something soothing about the word "wound".

    wooooouuund.

there was a monty python skit where two of the cast, one in drag, sit around thinking up words that are "woody" or "tinny."

    wound is woody.

    traumatic injury is tinny.
