    at a little after 3am my fucking fire alarm went off; my loud, piercing, feels like it's a sound laser into your brain fire alarm.

    fuck.

    there was no smoke, no fire. it just went off. since there was no button or anything on it i could hit with a broom to turn it off, i had to call maintenance. it took fernando 20 minutes to get to me. finally i had to wait outstide in the 20 degree cold.

    he said the alarm was just old and that this was it's death screech.

    i wish i had a lapis to play with.
