    "Lionel was not quite accurate when he said he was only an actor because he couldn't do anything else. He was also accomplished in painting, etching and was also a composer of symphonic music. He composed the musical score for His Glorious Night and created a symphony in brother John's memory called In Memoriam."

    I have an original copy of his composition "Song Without Words," published by G. Schirmer in 1945. Marked "Andante con moto," it's in C Major and is in a romantic style.
