Taking a break from some NT performance monitoring on intranet servers in a "cold room" two stories below ground in secured server room for a major telco here in NJ. Need to see why the processors on some Proliants get pinned when running certain intranet apps.
I am also nowhere. Now and here.
    Over and Out

It is now just before midnight here in Sweden. I
have to do something different before I go to sleep, so therefor I try this. I have just been out with the dog for a walk. Now we both are tired. My PC I will close very soon. Bit tomorrow morning we all wake up again, also the PC.

A major telco in New Jersey? Hmmm....who could that be? Yeah, I've worked for the Death Star too. Now with a minor telco in Maryland, and much happier.

    Hey Markus,
I am in the Death Star but am not a imperial trooper. I work for a consulting company building intranet apps that is justed tapping a vein so to speak. I am the project SE here so I get to play with all the cool technology without having to listen to all the political and managerial gobeldy-gook from the indigerati.
I love telco and wide area network technology though and I hope to start a graduate program in NJIT this spring to add to all the other pieces of paper that I have collected. I wouldn't mind eventually doing telco and WAN as an addition to my systems engineering experience.
How do you like working in telco? What do you do?
