2. How are Sem and Kazu, post-wedding? Are they officially living together full time? How's all of that going? 3. Where the hell is Nate? 4. Where the hell is Patrick? 5. How is PJBoy recovering? Is he okay? Will he ever take another turn in scrabble? 6. I could add the usual crap about Swine, Margret, Sheila, etc; but you know they won't answer anyhow so what's the point, right? |

Over...and over... |
Such as, we have to get a rack for our bathroom so we can put our towels away. And we need to figure out a solution for our CDs, which collectively I wouldn't be surprised to find out we have a couple thousand. I solved the DVD storage by utilizing empty space on our entertainment center. We also still need to put the nice shower curtain we got as a wedding gift, and we are trying to find a pair of those plastic adirondack style porch chairs for our porch. Kazu has a part-time job as a canvasser, which has her working til 10pm three days a week, but the extra money coming in plus the fact she's making friends here in Columbus makes it worth while. We are heading back out to Massachusetts this week to attend a cousin's wedding reception, so it will be my first visit back out there as an "in-law" - should be fun! I don't know where Nate is. I'd like to know where Patrick was when he took all those tropical island pictures on his flickr page, though. |

2. sem has spoken. it's not like they'd disappeared. 3. i see nate occasionally on the wayd board. he spends much of his days sitting in a dark room drinking wine and watching a large console of 15 televisions, each one running different programs like news, sports, talk, etc. he is coming to the conclusion that every one in the world is an idiot except him. 4. patrick currently works for the yiddish pornographer fayschul kumschotz. 5. i actually worry about pjboy. 6. swine is the lifetime president of a small island nation in the carribean. margret works part time as a dominatrix. sheila lives in a cave in a mountain. 7. i sent that accordian band to platy's house. it's a south texas band called the kolache consortium; i sent them there to play "pickled egg polka" for her. |
Also, iTunes will cripple your music once you rip it, which is not so awesome. Use a program like Winamp instead if you want more flexibility with your media. |
jack is disappearing again now. see you next year, maybe. you all stay true. |

Happiness --by Carl Sandburg I asked professors who teach the meaning of life to tell me what is happiness. And I went to famous executives who boss the work of thousands of men. They all shook their heads and gave me a smile as though I was trying to fool with them. And then one Sunday afternoon I wandered out along the Desplaines river. And I saw a crowd of Hungarians under the trees with their women and children and a keg of beer and an accordian. happiness is a pack of accordian-wielding hungarians, platypus. |

Columbus is fine, albeit a little too cold. I got so accustomed to Atlanta weather that you'd think I never lived in New England. |
news? sports? nate's 15 televisions are broadcasting different genres of porn. |

23. Why does it feel like someone punched me in the pubic bone and I'm going to shit myself every time I stand up? |
pepper, you answer my many many questions and i will answer yours |
24. When is autumn ever going to get here? |
|
25. Does anyone have a good recipe for chai? 26. What's in your pockets? |
|
|
normally, i like autumn. though, right now, i'm wishing it was spring. a couple of days ago i had a bowl of pho that came with generous amounts of fresh cilantro and mint. i think they grow it themselves. i discovered that i love the combination of cilantro and mint; so much so that, were it spring, i would probably be planting mint and cilantro in my backyard right now. |

wife sits upstairs with our not-sleeping daughter. She (the wife) is currently cooking another one, due in November, and I'm in the midst of a career change, on my way to becoming a preschool teacher. Good to see some familiar faces still here. |
|
|
Not going for the master's yet. I only need one course to become an assistant teacher. Once I'm working, I'll think about getting a degree and becoming a lead teacher. For now, it's just subbing; I'm going to want to take some time off when the Sibling arrives in November. Sophie's almost two and a half now. She's a lot of fun--loves crafts, plays pirate with me around the house, and has an incredible imagination. What's up on your end. I remember something about libraries? And your daughter must be--what, ten now? |
JusMiceElf - i don't know if you're aware that your handle is suggestive of sly and the family stone, but you've go "family affair" playing in my head. |
|
Are you still in Northampton, or Amherst, or somewhere around there? For the record, I really like the name Sophie. |
