At some point a few months ago, I decided that I was going ot start reading... not just these silly John Grisham or Mary Higgins Clark novels, or whatever the masses are reading now... I thought I would read some quality literature, which I had been briefly introduced to in a course I had taken. So I read "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and I loved it, so I read it again, and then I read The Old Man and the Sea in one evening (which is quite the accomplishment fo rme)... but Damn, nothing quite matches the sun also rises... somehow, I found that book truly inspirational in how I can look at life, and how I can live it.

Methinks you should all read it.

Hemingway made me want to be a writer. As an early teen, he was my first inspiration. Sun Also Rises was the first book I read by him. It was instant love.
