    All I can say is, when I finished reading this book, I wanted to read more westerns.

    I had picked it up because I had never read a western before. I had never seen the film either... I just thought I ought to give it a try. I found myself compelled to keep reading it. I didn't eat until I finished reading it. It was just really, really good.

    I don't know that it's my favourite book, or the best book I ever read, but definitely don't overlook simply it because it's a western. It's a very good book.

    holiday season and i read it in a sitting. It is
    kinda pulpy, but wonderful. great read, but not
    my favorite.
