    I have not finished it yet.
    I am disappointed in every aspect of it but its title, which promises me ever so much.
    Thomas Disch kicks ass, and the book is interesting, but it doesn't address the issues it hints at, it is more superficially historical and anecdotal with only the merest whiff of analysis.
    Don't get me wrong, I love gossip about Philip K. Dick as much as anyone.
    But I wanted so much more, and if any author is capable of delivering it Disch is definitely it.
