    by Martin Amis. Interesting, I really like his style, but in the end, a rather disappointing murder/suicide mystery. Not nearly as good as London Fields, Time's Arrow or the Information.

    I tried to read it, but gave up after the first page.

    I did like his non-fiction book, "The King's English," though.

    C'est dommage, Spider. Try it again. You might like it. I know, there are books that I try and try to start and can't ever get past the first chapter. Like the Bible, for instance. Those dudes did a lot of begatting.
