I love detective novels. I especially love Joe Pike and Elvis Cole.

And I love that Robert Crais's favourite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I finished Pride & Prejudice yesterday - still one of my favourite novels, probably because we never had to sudy it at school.

Before that I read Earth Abides by George R Stewart - interesting sci fi. I see where they got the idea for the movie Quiet Earth.

In the next few weeks I'm going to hire P&P on video (the BBC version with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle) and have a girly day at home with some friends.

Damn but the BBC series is wonderful. The way Colin Firth smoulders! Yummy yummy pigs bummy* I could just bonk him till Christmas.

*Guess who's just had nephews staying, huh?

I just love it when he meets Lizzie at Pemberley, and he's all wet from the ducking in the horse trough!

    yum yum bubblegum!

    My condolences.

I'm nowhere near Melbourne, which is a shame because I have my very own copy of P&P and I'm not afraid to whip it out.

Should I stay or should I go now?

I love that mini-series. I have a copy of it too. I feel like watching it, but I'm not sure if I could stand to sit through four and a half straight hours of television right now.

best book Ever. best mini-series Ever.
