    sitting here at my sister's apartment... house sitting.
    she wants me to water her plants while she is away on business.
    (picture pigs with confused faces; in one hand plant food, in the other a large bottle of hand-- in the porcine mind bounces the question, "how much water does a begonia need? a crossandra? a kalanchoe? that weird looking vegetable-rasta looking thing in the corner? shit... too much can't hurt... right?"
    i soaked the plants, cracked open a beer, and sat down in front of this new p.c. her company gave her...

    and now the folks upstairs are cranking that indie-rock stuff i always heard out in seattle but didn't pay much attention to...

    one phrase caught my ear...
