One of the Rogue Parrot Flocks descended into my yard this morning. I woke at 7am due to the horrific racket they make, but wasn't too pissed once I realized what they were. They're mostly in the big redwood tree in my yard, and are driving the local blue jays nuts. It's strange to see hundreds of tropical birds in my yard. I hope they don't eat my fuschias.

Those are cool. My parents get a lot of birds at their ranch, but nothing like that. They get blue headed cow birds and other crap like that. You occasionally find this bird that runs up and down the tree trunk and is kinda funny, but nothing exotic or pretty. I love to look at birds like that, but am HIGHLY allergic to all birds and will swell up like a pregnant Spice Girl and stop breathing completely. I avoid birds.

i saw a bunch of parakeets in san fran when i was visiting my friend in the mission. they were all hanging out in the palm trees. it was most picturesque.

i love san francisco. i would live there in a heartbeat if i could afford it.

I wonder if the parrots will visit me when I move to the berzerkley. Probably not, I don't think they visit the east bay much. Maybe I should start another flock.

I remember seeing them when I visited my grandparents as a kid.

my uncle had parrots like that in pasadena a while back, i think. they ate fruit from the trees in his back yard, and they'd hang out on the grapevine trellis.

ugh, i watched The Birds a few weeks ago. eerie movie. very good, but frightening.
