This is the Ramones tribute album that Rob Zombie and Johhny Ramone put together.

There are some good versions on here and some real stinkers. Overall, though it's good. Worth it for teh good tracks.

    The good:
    The Chili Peppers' "Havana Affair"
Kiss-"Do you Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio?"
    Green Day - "outsider"
The PRetenders - "Something to Believe in"
Rancid - "Sheena is a Punk Rocker"
Tom Waits - "Return of Jackie and Judy"
A hidden track which I suspect is Johhny Ramone and John Frusciante -"Today your love, Tomorrow the World"

The Ok (not bad, but could have been a lot better):
Eddie Vedder with Zeke: "I Believe In Miracles" and "Daytime Dilemma" - These are two of my favorite Ramones songs, and while Zeke does a pretty good job on teh music, Vedder did not pour his heart into the vocals. Then again, he hasn't done that in years on any song.
    U2- "Beat on the Brat"
Pete Yorn - "I Wanna be your Boyfriend"
Rooney - "here today, Gone Tomorrow"
Garbage - "i just wanna have something to do"
The offspring - "I wanna be sedated"

    THe Horrid:
    Rob Zombie - "Blitzkrieg bop"
    Metallica - "53rd & 3rd"
Marilyn Manson - "The KKK TOok my baby away"

dammit. I miss making mixes. I used to make them for my friends all the time. Sem has made me a couple CDs and I have yet to reciprocate.

    cooledit pro?

if you have usenet, go to alt.binaries.multimedia.utilities or alt.binaries.sounds.utilities and monitor them for a week or so. this is an excellent binary grabber. all you need is the name of your isp's news server. usually, if your mail server is mail.whatever.com, your news server will be news.whatever.com. usually. your isp's website should have this info.

    aarrrgh, happy pirating!
