Working for a media company...you enjoy the benefits of getting all kinds of advance and promo copies.

This Seattle band....not bad. Dave, I expect you have an opinion on these guys?

Also, have you heard Darkel? Not bad. I thought it was a new Air album, and it might as well be. Same stream.

i haven't heard anything about them. or darkel.

i've been increasingly, musically unfulfilled for the last year or so. it's sad when "not so bad" or "better than i expected" is the best review i can give a song or album.

i saw scratch acid last weekend.

    SCRATCH ACID??/?/?

    Was...was David Yow there?

By Spider on Saturday, September 23, 2006 - 01:38 pm:

Wait, seriously...what??! Are they together again or something?

By Spider on Saturday, September 23, 2006 - 01:38 pm:

Wow, this news has totally cheered me up. Thanks, dude!

By dave. on Saturday, September 23, 2006 - 04:01 pm:

yup. all the original members. they totally rocked.

i'm pretty sure it's just a reunion tour. no new material.

By Spider on Saturday, September 23, 2006 - 08:08 pm:

What songs did they play? Did they play "Greatest Gift"?
Was David Yow in good form? You know I have a crush
on that man. Did he take his pants off?

By dave. on Saturday, September 23, 2006 - 11:11 pm:

they played all the songs on the first album and a bunch of stuff on the other 2 -- about 20 songs total. opened with crazy dan and closed the encore with el espectro.

yow kept his pants on and spat on everything. incoherent banter between songs.
