A fictional story of the last days of the legendary Director James Whale, of the cult classics "Frankenstein" and "Bride of Frankenstein," as well as the movie version of "Showboat" and The Invisible Man." He was openly gay. Excellentlty acted. McKellen & Redgrave are delicious. Frasier is scrumptuous eye candy. YUMMMMMM. And while, usually not a fan of flashbacks in movies, they worked quite effectively in this one. Mostly humorous, at times sad. A great movie. Since somone already coined the 2 Thumbs Up moniker, I say.... **** out of **** stars. Ok, not original, but... oh well... heh |
