I am about to view this movie again. It's appearing on TurnerClassicMovies at 2pm Central. Way weird and colorful: Peter Lind Hayes. Boy has bad dream of piano teacher, 500 boys and huge keyboard. sort of like a twisted Wizard of Oz. indescribable

I saw this a few years ago, when I was in college. Weird and trippy. Dr. Seuss wrote the script, and did the set design, and it shows. All of the sets have that weird Dr. Seuss feel to them, with funky arches and stairways to nowhere, and the like.
