So i was going to go to the coffehouse tonight, but I rented this instead. Rather intense. A very good movie. Mark Wahlberg was, dare I say it, pretty damn good. The scenes with the bullets was anice touch.

In all, more surreal than I thought it would be, which probably means it came close to depicting how it was over there.

The scene where Wahlberg is talking to his captor, and the captor tells how his family was bombed, that made me think about how the bombs are still dropping on that poor country. No wonder we get called the Great Satan in places, we can do a fair impression it seems.

Now all of my old hatred for George Bush has been rekindled. if you vote for his son, we're gonna have some issues.

did you like that girl that fell on the floor with george clooney? (if that isn't how you spell his name- i don't care)

I thought that scene was well, unnecessary. I thought it was kinda wierd that right after the moment of oozquirt, they just get up and start jabbering away. of course, maybe that's normal.

Spike Jonze is as a god.

I hadn't realized he was married to Sofia Coppola.

Did I spell Jonze right? Anyone?
