A fucked up movie, to be sure. Not necessarily a GOOD movie, but very fucked up.

Rose McGowan shows her tits a whole lot though.

Lots of weird sex... lots of weird sexual situations and sexual tension.

Lots of weird, cheap, bloody violence. Major body parts being shot/cut off.

i loved it. I've meet James Duval a couple of times...the kid who plays Jordan. He is pals with Angry Sam.

I love Greg Araki films. See Nowhere and Totally Fucked Up. Great flics.

He tends to have a lot of homoerotic overtures, but I kinda like that.

I think my fav part is when Jimmy gets a finger in his ass at the end.

    Doom Generation is a classic.

    Curbin' people.

I'll check them out, Patrick. This is actually something like the 3rd time I've seen the movie. I feel that I need to spread the fuckupedness around by showing it to friends.

    Curbin'? Huh?

Araki is pretty much a gay filmmaker, ain't he?
I got a laugh out of the fact that "Doom Generation" is billed as a "Heterosexual Film"---and yet it has a queer streak a mile wide.

well......he used to be....or I heard, his earlier work...but these films i speak of here, thought arent out right GAY, he does have homoerotic themese in a lot of them. i don't like to think of his films as gay or straight. They are just films that have gay undercurrents. If a film has straight undercurrents its not really noted as straight, so i apply the same to his films.

i thought that Nowhere worked well because
the whole film itself was just like the
characters- beautiful and pointless. So it
    somehow created this perfect mood.

Like a 12 year old with a beeper.
