I think I am broken. I can't concentrate, and I get all tense and nasty when I see coupley shit, so Mum and John (thats her man) took me to see The Fast and the Furious. Both John and I wanted to go, and I'm glad I did, cause man... nice eye candy!
But how sad, I went with my parents.

i'm 26 and I dont think i'm going to grow up

    give it time. relax.

By moonit on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 01:22 am:

I know. its insane to think i should be instantly fixed.

I'd give my left arm for a bandaid that would fix the big gaping hole in my heart.

By dave. on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 01:47 am:

    band-aids are nasty. yuck.

By Antigone on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 02:38 am:

Hey, moonit. About that hole in yer heart thing...

    Let's shack up!

That'll solve both of our problems.

By moonit on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 03:29 am:

    heh.

planning on emigrating to new zealand are ya?

By moonit on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 03:36 am:

    fuck.

why is it that it hurts more this time?? (as opposed to the time we broke up because of skanky slut girl) why?

By Hal on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 04:34 am:

Because the time with the skanky girl you had a concrete reason in your mind and your heart, this time your unsure, and it hurts. You know when my ex first dumped me for hers it hurt, but I could handle it because I knew why. Then a while later long after we had gotten back together and things were fine, she broke it off, and I let go didn't fight it, let her walk away because the distance was too hard (she's about a 3 hour drive away) and I'm still hating myself for it.

Not having a reason in your own heart, makes the chore of handling the burden harder and more unbearable. Have no fear dear Moonit, for know that a package from Montana is on its way with goodies that will make you smile, as well Know that someone knows what its like. One day I'll get out of this acursed state and visit New Zealand and we'll have a few drinks laugh play some pool and have a few more drinks.

By eri on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 10:29 am:

Moonlit, I know where you are coming from. I used to need to have someone all of the time or I felt awful. It is a vicious cycle. You did the right thing.

I let that part of me that needed someone have some control over my life. I would go from one relationship to the next constantly, afraid that my biological clock was running out. It was very silly of me. I had a beautiful baby and got married and less than a year later I was a divorced single mom. My ex just got out of prison in October. He was an alcoholic.

Sometimes being alone, even though the pain seems intolerable at times, is the best thing that you can do for you. You will get strength in spite of your pain. You will find someone, and not just someone you deserve, but someone who deserves you.

I wish that I could go to New Zealand and take you out for a few drinks, just so you could have a break and get silly.

By moonit on Saturday, November 3, 2001 - 03:27 pm:

    Thanks guys.

I think you got it right there Hal.

I can't wait for my montana package. Woohoooie!

I'm not worried about being alone, I just wish the hurt would go away.

Jules (my best friend) is coming down in a couple of weeks, and I've organised to have that weekend off from work, and go home early on the Friday, so many drinks will be had. Can't wait.
