    i have to admit, watching all those shirley temple and john wayne films when i was little turned me off of all those "older" films.

    but i found how to marry a millionaire at the library yesterday, so i checked it out.

    i really appriciate the production techniques. few sets, orchestral score, the emphasis placed on the costuming and acting of the three actresses.

    and marilyn monroe in glasses. i'm extremely happy i'm not so blind as her character. thank god.

    i can't seem to figure out which actress is lauren bacall and which is betty grable. i believe bacall's the brunette, but i'm not quite sure.
