    Wondering if anyone has seen that movie. "Putney Swope" . . just rented it from Video Alternatives.
    In a so-called liberal theater years ago, most of the audience walked out after the first scene.

    I saw The Shipping News, which you recommended Patrick. I loved it. Newfoundland is so beautiful, and it's where and how I'd like to live if I had my druthers. Maybe I'll retire to Maine. That's what my grandparents wanted to do (retire to Maine) but never did. I think it was a big regret of theirs. I'm going up to Cape Cod again the end of August for another taste of New England.
