    Save your money. Long, boring, and annoying. The only redeeming aspect was Ben Kingsley's acting. Anybody else suffer through it yet?

    Ben Kingsly was the shit in that movie. I kind of cried a little.

    the book was such complete and total ass that i never got around to seeing the movie.

    though, from dougie's description, this seems to be the rare case where the movie is better than the book.

    I liked it enough to buy it used.

    The movie is beautifully shot (roger deakins, of course) and the acting is superb, especially Kingsley.
