    Caught this on IFC. It's from 2001, hadn't heard of it before. A really nice movie with Juliette Binoche & Daniel Auteil. Kind of a reverse My Fair Lady story in which Juliette Binoche tries to save and rehabilitate a man condemned to the guillotine for murder. It's set on a small Canadian island in the 1800's. Her husband (Daniel Auteil) is a ship captain stationed on the island and promotes her rehabilitation efforts, and has to deal with petty bureaucrats and their politics. Plus, did I mention it's got Juliette Binoche in it?

    Couldn't sleep last night, so watched Strangeland with Dee Snider on IFC. It wasn't as incredibly bad as I thought it would be.
