    yesterday i happened to be listening to lambda weekly (north texas gay & lesbian radio) where the three hosts spent a good 15 minutes fondly reminiscing about ma richards.

    maybe this is just wishful thinking, but i can see her becoming a gay icon. complete with drag queen impersonators. there will be a whole line of ann richards wigs - the silver helmet.

    I only knew of her because she did that amazing episode of King Of The Hill (as herself), so she was clearly a super-awesome lady.
    And her daughter is the president of Planned Parenthood. I think i shall delve into her Wiki article....
