And yeah, it was pretty boring. It was "The Disaster Movie With A Heart"....all heart and very little disaster. I also saw Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas (don't ask) and Godzilla.... (The Chrysler Building seems to be taking a beating lately) About Godzilla, my advice is....don't. Not only did they rip off Jurassic Park, but also their own Independence Day, and scores of other movies. There is homage and then there is outright stealing....this movie could be accused of grand theft. (The filmakers seemed to be thinking "People loved Jurassic Park with the T-Rex and the 2 velociraptors, so we'll give them a REALLY BIG "T-Rex" and DOZENS of "Velociraptors" and the public will eat it up". No thank you...) |
