Actually, there was this movie starring Edie Sedgewick....some model associated w/the whole useless Andy Warhol / Factory crowd....it was biographical, I think and done just before she died....and she dies, or becomes a vegetable, in the movie, so go figure.....it's one of the most unwatchable pieces of drek I have EVER seen, it's incoherent gobbledigook and I wish I could remember the name...anyway---rest assured---it's REEEEAAAAALLY bad....it doesn't even work as "AVANT GARDE". It's just horrendous.

she was a groupie, and half a model, "USELESS" !!!!!! are you out of your fucking mind??? That whole scene produced some of the best art as well as the best music and film of that decade and decades to come.

Yes the movie was superficially biographical. It's called Ciao Manhatten. Though the movie is ubnoxious, don't you think the makers of that REALIZE that it is antagonistic? That was the whole point of her life. She was the ultimate femme fatale. She was an incrediably beautiful woman, yet a junkie, and no mind of her own. They took her in, tried to make something of her, however, her lack of brains and her compulsion for the extreme drove her to her grave. You may not like the movie, but don't down play the significance of that whole scene, cause it ain't right........just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it was bad....
