I was amazed when I saw this movie. It's the best Buddhist parable I've ever seen. Really. It can't be coincidence.

Believe it or not, it is playing right now on The Movie Channel, it is at the seen where Phil is in the restaraunt asking Nancy questions, the next day he goes back and uses the information to pick her up....ha ha, funny shit.

I watched it again last night on HBO, I watch it over and over again. I have HBO, HBO2, Cinemax, MoreMax,Showtime,Showtime2, The Movie Channel, Starz, Flix, and Encore Plex!. It seems like at least one of these premium services play this movie every month. It seems like it is on every week. I watch it every time it is on.

In retrospect, still one of the best movies ever made next to Educating Rita. So sue me - I'm a mellon collie baby.

I like the movie CONTACT mainly because how often have we been treated like Jodie's character? Work our asses off and devote a life to one's work and have somebody else step in at a critical moment in its development to take credit and then along comes karma and evens things out ....sort of ...or as best as can be expected....
Good story, good acting, good casting...
