1 Has to be "Titanic" nothing like watching a ship sink for three and a half hours 2 "Shallow Grave" This is a British Film, it was released a few years bach but it's still mighty good. Nothing like a good blood to get you going. 3 "Shooting Fish" yet another British one, very well made, however I've been told that American people dont get most of the jokes. 4 "Waynes World" Nothing like a bit of dirty teen humor. 5 "Night of the living dead" OH the green men are after us, rrruuuunnnnn" Well I cant think of any more. Erm if amyone knows of any good movies I should cheak out, mail me, and I'll see what I can do! |
"Shallow Grave" was decent, but that girl (forget her name) rocked the freaking world in "Angel at my Table". hot Dog! |
Seen Once Were Warriors?? |

By the way, Agatha -- the actress' name was Kerry Fox. |

Gee it is and its about a woman and her children and her abusive hubby. Gotta say I cried thru to whole movie... they have just finished the second part. mmm the guy who plays Ng mmmmm |
As for "Shallow Grave"...eh. An average quality flick that looked better in the trailors. The only thing I liked was that one guy getting sick all over the place when he hacked up the bodies. uh..he did that, right? It's been a while... |
Definintely rent it, Gee. But not when you're in a bad mood. |
if you want to see ewan mcgregor run around naked for two hours, then rent "the pillow book," another (otherwise) boring peter greenaway movie. |
|
Oh yeah the second half is called What becomes of the Broken Hearted, and its about the Dad in the film (Temuara Morrision). I still have to read the book. |
And thanks for the correct MU. I had no idea it was based on a novel. I shall have to look for that one. |

Has anyone ever seen a movie called Cleo from 5 to 7, directed by Agnes Varda? I don't know if it will still be on my top 10, but I'm sure I saw it dozens of times. It used to appear regularly on "The Big Movie" etc. (late night and Sunday afternoons in Atlanta), when I was a young child. It's in French with English subtitles. I can barely remember it now, just have this impression of it being wonderful in this happy/sad, European way. I'm going to get ahold of a video copy (if necessary, I could buy it from Amazon) and see it again. having remembere |
reuben and ed the red balloon all over you usual suspects. i saw "out of time" (i think it was called that) with george clooney and jennifer lopez, i was amazed by how good it was. i thought it was going to be a totally cheesy action thriller judging from the trailers. the movie "next stop-wonderland" hit the spot for me recently. sem has good taste in movies, i loved "delicatessan", "shawshank redemption", "dead man walking", and "clerks". i laughed my ass off at clerks, at the time i was working at kinko's full time and an espresso cart three days a week. |
