still a classic, always a classic.

I agree, but there are a lot of classics that I would not consider to be the best movie ever made. I could not determine the best movie ever, because there are way too many kinds of them. Kinds really, I mean types...there are comedys, and drama, and all that stuff...so I think you would have to devise a sort of system first...like...favorite action movie, or favorite 80's movie...of course, I have a system for everything..like eating, and even sleeping... I don't know if that is a disorder or what...maybe I am obsesive compulsive...

I think regardless of the "type" of movie, some are just better than others. The Indiana Jones movies are fantastic action movies but some movies, like Fast Times, Clerks and Pulp Fiction are just good all around. I see what you're saying though. picking a single movie as THE BEST is a little difficult. To use the old stuck on a desert island thing, I'd bring Fast Times though. Maybe I've just been stoned since the third grade.

I think, stranded on a desert island, I would take any one of the movies like Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy..you know, the ones that I already love, and could stand to see a billion times over just to remember the lines. Well, to be truthful, I already know the words to the previously mentioned movies...

I use a few lines from Clerks in my life often without realizing it.
"I'll break my crazy neck on this ladder." whenever i'm doing anything risky, it doesn't have to involve a ladder.
"I feel good today silent bob." whenever i feel good. i say it to noone in particular.
"I find it's best to stay out of other peoples affairs." used whenever someone asks me anything. great stuff.
