I finally saw Dogma last night. I actually enjoyed the performances by Affleck, Damon, and the faboo Alan Rickman. Then on the next tier down were Jason Lee, Salma Hayek, and the cast of characters, etc. At the absolute bottom was Linda Fiorentino. She was my total hero when I was like 17. Sigh.
But Kevin Smith got majorly YUMMY at some point. What's up with THAT?

"dogma" was boring. all they did was talk.

and I saw the awful "mansfield park" on thursday. everyone was about 10 years too old for their part, and the director tried to add this awful slavery and incest shit into the story. whatever.

I can't wait for "being john malkovich" to hit the second-run theaters. that bitch catherine keener is the new linda fiorentino, who was my hero in "the last seduction." "being john malkovich" is really fucking funny except for all the tedious explanatory scenes with the "cocoon" / "rosemary's baby" seniors.

don't tell me, don't tell me! I haven't seen it yet.

it's still playing at one big screen theater here. Hopefully I'll have a chance to make it before it goes away.

oh, sorry, I'm talking about the malkovich movie. I love that fella.
